Our commitment

VBCut is made by RayCave Holdings, LLC. We want the app and this site to be usable by everyone who wants to watch their kid play volleyball — including parents and players who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, switch controls, or magnification.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA on vbcut.com. We describe this as a target rather than a certification — we test carefully, but no automated tool catches everything, and we would rather hear from you than claim perfection.

How this site is built

No JavaScript. vbcut.com is static HTML and CSS. Nothing depends on scripts running, so nothing breaks when they don't.
Semantic structure. Real landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), one h1 per page, and headings that descend in order without skipping levels.
Skip link. The first item reachable by keyboard on every page jumps past the navigation directly to the main content.
Keyboard operable. Every interactive element is a real link, button, or native disclosure control, reachable in a logical order, with a visible focus outline that we do not suppress.
Expandable answers use native controls. The question-and-answer sections use the browser's own <details> element rather than custom JavaScript, so they behave correctly with assistive technology by default.
Color contrast. All text exceeds the WCAG AA minimum of 4.5:1. Body text measures roughly 17:1 in light appearance and 16:1 in dark; the lightest secondary text measures about 5.5:1.
No images carrying information. The site conveys its content in text, so no meaning is locked inside a picture.
Light and dark appearance, following your system setting, with both schemes contrast-tested.
Resizes cleanly from phone widths to large monitors, and at increased zoom, without horizontal scrolling.
No cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking — and so no consent banners or pop-ups to navigate past.

Known limitations

We have tested with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. We have not yet completed testing with NVDA or JAWS on Windows.
This statement describes vbcut.com. The VBCut app is in development, and its accessibility is being assessed separately — we have not yet published a conformance claim for the app itself. Reports about the app are very welcome in the meantime.
Pages we link to that we do not operate — including Apple's App Store and TestFlight — are outside our control.

Reporting a problem

Email support@vbcut.com. It helps if you can tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the browser or device and assistive technology you were using — but please write even if you would rather not include the details. We aim to respond within five business days.

We treat an accessibility report as a defect report, not a request. If something here excludes you, that is a bug in our work.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice or contact your local accessibility enforcement authority.
